Psychiatric Treatment for Adults

Alliance Health Center’s adult psychiatric treatment programs are intended to help adults diagnosed with a behavioral health disorder so severe they require around-the-clock care. The goal of these programs is to help patients achieve mental stability so they can return home or transition into less intensive care.

Our adult inpatient programs are offered at two levels of care to better address the severity of each patient’s condition. A no-cost, confidential assessment is conducted at admission to determine the program in which a patient is initially placed. We help patients develop a discharge plan for aftercare services and continued growth after they leave our care.

Two Levels of Adult Inpatient Care

Connections is our acute care program for adults with severe, long-term mental health symptoms—such as paranoia or schizophrenia—and the inability to care for themselves. Patients on this unit may also be a threat to themselves or others.

Journeys is a program that provides therapeutic hospitalization for adults who have difficulty functioning due to depression, post-traumatic stress, bipolar disorder, anxiety or another mental health disorder that complicates daily life.
